Do you have enough staff trained in first aid to cover all shifts? Some of the factors to consider are the locations of the trained staff. Are they off site, getting lunch or a coffee, away for a family emergency, off sick, maternity leave, field trips or simply at the other end of the facility?
Employers must consider the aspect of due diligence to ensure that the staff are well covered for first aid emergencies, in that the first responder can arrive quickly.
