Holiday Season Driving

The highest number of collisions occur in December, with December 21, 22 and 23 being the very highest.

Christmas Day and New Years Day have the lowest number of collisions.

Have you installed your winter tires?  They are a must, as they grip the road better in snowy cold weather.  Always get a winter inspection for your vehicle.

Remove snow and ice from your vehicle before driving.

Slow down and keep plenty of extra space, as it takes longer to stop on slippery roads.

Keep a winter Emergency kit in your vehicle, in case of a blizzard and other severe weather and emergencies.
